First earning the moniker "The Broadway Blueshirts" due to the close proximity of the team’s home arena Madison Square Garden to Times Square, the New York Rangers are soon to celebrate their 100th anniversary, and we offer a great collection of Manhattan marvels totaling eleven and featuring nine signed items. First, we have a Rangers jersey signed by Rod Gilbert, with the CCM vintagemodel sporting a tackle twill team crest and numbers, with Gilbert adding a flawless silver paint pen signature to the reverse “7”. Next, we have 8” x 10” photos with each framed to slightly larger dimensions, signed by Vic Hadfield, Andy Bathgate, Emile Francis and Harry Howell, along with a magazine page signed by Jean Ratelle (framed to 12 ½” x 14 ½”). This is followed by a small newsprint image signed by Ratelle (6” x 8”), a reproduction Beehive image signed by Gump Worsley (4” x 5 ½”), a 1928 Rangers replica team crst framed to 12” x 15”, and a pair of gorgeous NOS vintage 1950s/60s “Maple Leafs” skates my MC Inc, with the right skate signed by Ratelle in silver, with the signature perfect. Lastly, we have a team-signed stuick used by Nick Beverly in 1974-75, with the Victoriaville model sporting his name stamped, with the original tape in place and light use shown. 20 have signed the frontside shaft in matching black marker, including Greschner, Marotte, Ratelle, Rolfe, Middleton, Villemure, Park, Stemkowski, Gilbert, Vickers, Giacomin, Beverly, Butler, Irvine and a few others.
