With an astounding 113 post-season victories to his credit, Martin Brodeur also registered 24 playoff shutouts throughout his HOF career, with his 691 career-wins considerably more than second-place Patrick Roy, who finished with 551. We have a signed and photo-matched trapper that saw action on the left hand of Brodeur during the 1995-96 NHL regular season, his third with New Jersey. A Heaton Helite-III model in Devils’ colours, identifiers are both embroidered and screened-on, with all the original lacing intact and no alterations. Photo-matched to a half dozen images from Nov of 1995 that show the same marks over the reverse, the extended red threading on the Heaton logo and the tear in the black background material over the reverse pocket, Martin has signed atop the wrist guard in black marker, and the signature displays well. An LOA from Classic Auctions will accompany.
Thorough use is visible on the glove, with numerous puck marks within the pocket, along with heavy rubbing to the leather along the bottom section. There is also some minor discolouration over the back of the wrist guard, with a few additional marks and abrasions present.
