Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Spring 2020

Popular O-Pee-Chee set to consider looks to be a childhood assembly, with centering issues affecting the three key rookie cards. The Ken Dryden RC (VG+) has the lightest of surface wrinkles descending from the top border into the first "N" of Canadiens and a very subtle light rubber band-responsible indentation in the middle right edge, while the Guy Lafleur rookie is affected by a light crease, as well as a tape stain on the reverse, with the Marcel Dionne RC at VG. We observe VG, VG+ and VG-EX cards the most often, with 100-Orr (G) featuring a considerable upper edge ding. Crease-free and VG+ to VG-EX are two Orr specials, Howe and Beliveau specials, Clarke, Hull and Sittler, with Perreault one of a few with a pinhole and Tony "O" among the hammered low grade entries, similar to the two marked and multi-creased checklists. Overall average is in the VG or a tad higher neighborhood. Someone had some fun with these but there's still plenty of fun to be had by the new owner.
