Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Winter 2020
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 2/26/2020
Remembered first and foremost as an Edmonton Oiler, Wayne Gretzky spent nine seasons in his adoptive home, with a mind boggling 1,773 points scored during his tenure in Alberta. Honouring his time in Edmonton, this framed Oilers jersey has been signed by the iconic legend. Produced in 2011 and mounted with the reverse of the jersey showing including Wayne’s famous “99”, a photo of the superstar hoisting the most important trophy in sport has been added beneath, along with a small name plaque and a pair of Oilers team crests. Wayne has signed within the second “9” in white, with the attractive signature standing out beautifully against the dark background. Framed to full dimensions of just under 42” x 47”, a hologram from WGA has been affixed, with a matching COA to accompany. Please take note that due to the item’s size/weight, shipping may be substantial.
