Scoring an impressive 20 points including 10 goals in just 22 playoffs games in 1997-98, Sergei Fedorov is the first Russian-born player in history to reach the 1,000 NHL-points plateau. The model of stick used by Fedorov in both the 1997-98 Stanley Cup championship season and the following 1998-99 season, this particular game-used and signed stick was gifted from the superstar directly to our consignor, Ken Daniels. A sportscaster with CBC from 1985 to 1997, Daniels is currently the play-by-play announcer for the Detroit Red Wings on Fox Sports Detroit. A Nike 220 Graphite model, “Fedorov” appears over the upper shaft, with the original white tape over the handle and inserted Christian blade. Moderate use is exhibited, with wear and marks to the taped section of blade along with some chipping to the surface over the lower shaft. Sergei has signed over the front side of the heel in black marker, with no issues for the signature. An LOA from Ken Daniels will accompany.
