Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Winter 2019

Number 8 on the all-time NHL points list, Mario Lemieux finished his amazing career with 1723 regular-season points, scored in just 915 games. We have a signed stick that was issued to the superstar, with this particular example gifted from the legendary Penguin directly to our consignor, Ken Daniels. A sportscaster with CBC from 1985 to 1997, Daniels is currently the play-by-play announcer for the Detroit Red Wings on Fox Sports Detroit. A KOHO Revolution 2240 model popular with Mario in the early-1990s, “Lemieux” appears stamped over the lower shaft, with the striping accent intact. Featuring a factory-shaved handle, Mario has placed a blue marker signature across the front side of the blade, with no issues. The stick itself shows some minor wear from both handling and storage. An LOA from Ken Daniels will accompany each stick.
