Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Fall 2018
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 11/6/2018
A great group of signatures including affixed cuts for both hockey and baseball, we have a small autograph booklet hailing from the late-1950s, with multi-signatures present from the Toronto Maple Leafs, Chicago Black Hawks, Cleveland Indians and Milwaukee Braves. Starting with affixed cuts from HOFers Ace Bailey and Maurice Richard (detached), this is followed by signatures from the 1957-58 Leafs including fellow HOFers Joe Primeau and Bob Puford, three pages of affixed cuts featuring the Indians including Roger Maris and Vic Wertz, three signed pages featuring the 1957-58 Black Hawks including HOFers Ted Lindsay, Glenn Hall, Pierre Pilote, Al Arbour and Bobby Hull, and three signed pages along with an affixed cut for the Milwaukee Braves including HOFer Warren Spahn.
The majority of the signatures are in ballpoint, with dark residue over/bordering both the Bailey and Richard examples, with most of the signatures in the collection displaying well with no issues. The book itself is 3 ½” x 5” and in fragile condition, with heavy wear both in and out.
