Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Spring 2019

A six-time Stanley Cup champion in only eight seasons, Ken Dryden also played in five All-Star Games, with five Vezina Trophies won/shared. We have a stick used by the HOF member, with any and all material from the superstar netminder highly sought. A Canadien model, with this the type of stick used by Ken starting in the mid-1970s and throughout the Habs late-1970s Cup dynasty, with “K. Dryden” stamped over the upper shaft and “29” handwritten. The original white tape on the blade and white-over-black on the knob remains intact, with a bit of blade tape missing from the heel section. The striping accents also remain intact, with excellent use exhibited, with numerous puck marks to the blade and chips over the reverse, resulting from Dryden hitting the stick against his blade tips. The blade also sports a heavy vertical crack along the middle section, and despite this, the stick remains fairly solid.
