Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Winter 2020
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 2/26/2020
First awarded in 2012 and given “on the basis of their outstanding contributions or service to the growth and development of the sport of hockey in Canada, which may include players, coaches, officials, administrators, executives, trainers, physicians, inventors or any other person whose role or service in the game is recognized as extraordinary", we have an Order of Hockey in Canada 10K gold and diamond induction ring that was presented to inaugural class member Jean Beliveau. Size 10 ½ with an approximate weight of 39 grams, a red enamel maple leaf sits centered amid a pool of real diamonds, encompassed by “Order of Hockey in Canada” in raised and slanted letters. The right shank has an image of the award with “2012” above, with the Order of Hockey in Canada logo over the left shank along with “Beliveau” above. The inner band has been stamped “10K”, with a facsimile Jean Beliveau signature also engraved. An LOA from the Beliveau family will accompany.
The ring remains in gorgeous condition and exhibits just light wear from use, with scratches over the outer band and along edges.
