Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Spring 2019

The perfect piece to bring a bit of tactile Montreal Forum history directly into your home, we have a completely restored red Forum seat, with this gorgeous example augmented with a signature and lengthy stats notation from deceased Canadiens legend Jean Beliveau. Featuring a new seat and cushion, the back-rest section is possibly original, sanded down and repainted, with “4” stenciled over the top portion along with a Canadiens decal affixed over the upper right. Beliveau has signed directly beneath his number in silver, adding “H.O.F. 1972”, his nickname and “10 Cups”, with each year that the legend hoisted Lord Stanley’s hardware listed. The silver-finished legs/stanchions both sports embossed red Habs logos with “1924-96”, with two 24” metal runners to be used on each side as a base included.
There is a bit of wear to the back rest, with some red spotting on the left, and black on the right, with electrical tape added to the bar that positions/stops the seat when opened. We should also note that the chair does stand perfectly without the included base runners.
