The magnificent penmanship of Thomas Edison is on full display in the signed cut at the top of this framed display commemorating the legendary American inventor and businessman. Edison (1847-1931), who developed the record player, movie camera and a long-lasting light bulb, holds an astounding 1,093 US patents in his name. The signed cut displays to roughly 1 1/4" x 3” with his bold purple fountain pen ink signature featuring the flourish of a line that arches over the top of his autograph. Only the Edison signed cut is authenticated. As per the JSA LOA that accompanies this framed display, the signed photo on the lower portion is a vintage clubhouse signature.
