Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Winter 2020

Still in the midst of running his streak of consecutive games played to 325 when he appeared on these thought-provoking collectibles was legendary Montreal Canadiens' goalie Georges Vezina. The 1923-24 William Paterson V-145 card was issued the same season that Vezina backstopped the Habs to their second-ever Stanley Cup and is admittedly rough at PR 1 (MK), with a faint image of a man stamped on the otherwise blank back responsible for the qualifier. A classic Vezina image and the Canadiens killer sweater are featured on the little Maple Crispette card from '24-25. A couple of light small creases and what looks to be paper or paper loss on the reverse contributed to PSA's recent GOOD 2 assessment. Two good ones of a hockey icon await.
