For those looking to add some already graded first-year cards of numerous Hall of Famers to their collection, look no further than this lot containing a collection of twenty-one (21) graded hockey rookie and star cards from the 1970s to the 2020s that includes names such as Dryden, Lafleur, Dionne, Sittler, Clarke, Salming, Messier, Bourque and many others. Lead off by a trio of 1970-71 O-Pee-Chee rookies that include the likes of Bobby Clarke (KSA ENM 6), Darryl Sittler (KSA EX 5) and Rejean Houle (KSA VGE 4), the key rookie class from the ever popular 1971-72 O-Pee-Chee set are included, with Montreal Canadiens teammates Ken Dryden and Guy Lafleur as well as Marcel Dionne garnering KSA VGE 4 designations after their respective examinations. For the final two (2) cards hailing from the decade of the 1970s, the first-year offerings of both Borje Salming and Denis Potvin are present from O-Pee-Chee's 1974-75 release with the Salming having been assessed a KSA mark of EX 5 and the Potvin a KSA VGE 4. Moving on to the 1980s, 1980-81 OPC rookies of Ray Bourque and Mark Messier are included with the lot, displaying marks of KSA ENM 6 and KSA VGE 4 over their labels while being joined by 1984-85 OPC examples of Doug Gilmour (KSA NMM 8), Steve Yzerman (KSA NM 7) and Cam Neely (KSA NM 7). For the rest of the 1980s offerings, included are the first-year cards of Wendel Clark (1986-87 OPC - KSA ENM+ 6.5), Brett Hull (1988-89 OPC - KSA NM+ 7.5), Bob Probert (1988-89 OPC - KSA NM+ 7.5), Pierre Turgeon (1988-89 OPC - CSG Near Mint+ 7.5) and Theo Fleury (1989-90 OPC - KSA NGM 9.5). Finally, rounding out the lot are a 1990-91 OPC Premier rookie of Jaromir Jagr that has earned a KSA mark of MINT 9 as well as a 1991-92 Upper Deck of Teemu Selanne that sports a MINT 9 from KSA as well with the last card being a 2020-21 Hot Shot Prospects of Connor Bedard in his Regina jersey that has earned a perfect KSA GEM MINT 10. All housed in holders that remain in excellent condition with just some light scratching evident as the main flaw, don't miss out on adding this group to your all important collection.
It must be noted that the grading standards followed by KSA and CSG may not correspond to those currently employed by PSA, BGS or SGC. The outcome of an attempted cross-over of this piece through any of those services, then, would be uncertain and cannot be guaranteed.
