Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Winter 2022
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 3/2/2022
Drafted second overall by the Kansas City Scouts in 1974 and seeing action with the club as they transitioned to become the Colorado Rockies, Wilf Paiement dressed for seven different NHL teams throughout his career and represented Canada at the World Championships for a trio of consecutive seasons. From his time with Quebec in the mid-1980s, we have a Nordiques jersey worn by the Earlton native in 1985-86. Currently void of any collar labeling and measuring-out to roughly a size 56, CCM and NHL crests grace the reverse hem. Featuring a tackle twill Nords team crest, “27” is heat-pressed to the sleeves and verso in blue vinyl, with fleur-de-lys placed over the shoulders and lower bands in matching material. The jersey also sports the Rendez-Vous 87 crest to the right sleeve, with each cuff customized. Asolutely hammered with use, countless puck and stick marks are present throughout, along with burns, paint transfer and small holes to the lower sleeves. There is also some peeling/cracking to the numbers and fleur-de-lys. An LOA will accompany from MeiGray along with a COR.
