Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Winter 2020
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 2/26/2020
Purchasing a 10% stake in the Phoenix Coyotes after his retirement in 2000, Wayne Gretzky first served as alternate governor, managing partner and head of hockey operations with the club before taking on coaching responsibilities, in 2005. Honouring his time with the Coyotes organization, this framed Phoenix jersey has been signed by the iconic legend. Produced in 2001 and mounted with the reverse of the jersey showing including Wayne’s famous “99”, a photo of Gretzky coaching has been added beneath, along with a small name plaque and a pair of Coyotes team crests. Wayne has signed within the second “9” in white, with the attractive signature blending into the background material. Framed to full dimensions of just under 42” x 47”, a COA from the Phoenix Coyotes will accompany. Please take note that due to the item’s size/weight, shipping may be substantial.
