Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction June 2018

The all-time leading scorer at the NHL All-Star Games, Wayne Gretzky has made the third most appearances at the league’s premier showcase, behind both Gordie Howe and Ray Bourque. We have a signed 1988 Wayne Gretzky Campbell Conference All-Star Game jersey, along with a pair of signed Nike skates, with these examples identical to the model Wayne wore at the 2003 Heritage Classic. The jersey has CCM Vintage labeling along with a size “56” fly tag, with the “Campbell” team crest, captain’s “C”, numbers and stars all tackle twill. Wayne has added a flawless silver ink signature within the first reverse “9”. The skates are custom-made Nike V12 models with “Gretzky” and “99” graphics (numbered 58/99), with Wayne signing the left skate’s toe section in silver, with no issues for the signature. Holograms have been affixed to each item from WGA, with matching COAs to accompany.
The jersey and skates both exhibit just very light wear. As an added bonus, there is also a 2” x 8” nameplate that states “Wayne Gretzky #99 The Great One Game Used November 25, 1982”, along with a cheaply framed 8” x 10” colour photo that pictures Wayne in game-action at the 1988 All-Star Game.
