Surpassing his idol, the great Gordie Howe, with his 802nd regular season goal scored on March 23, 1994 to become to NHL’s all-time goal leader, Wayne Gretzky first netted his 796th career goal with the offered puck, on Feb 25, 1994, vs his former Edmonton Oilers (it was Wayne’s 31st goal of the season). Featuring a heavily worn Oilers logo, “796 Goals” in blue decals have been added over the InGlasCo NHL crest, with white stick tape added around the side with the particulars handwritten including “W. Gretzky 31st Goal”, “Assist – Kurri” and “Feb-25-94”. The Great One would hoist both the Art Ross and Lady Byng Memorial trophies in 1993-94, and would conclude the season with 130 points scored in 81 games. Originating from the personal collection of Rick "The Stick" Elaschuk, his signed LOA will accompany.
