Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Winter 2021
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 2/23/2021
His final championship won with the Edmonton Oilers, Wayne Gretzky would again dominate the hockey world during the 1987-88 NHL season, scoring 149 points during the regular campaign along with an astounding 43 postseason points in just 19 games – his second-highest career total. Honouring The Great One’s 1988 championship, we have a limited-edition signed Oilers puck display with 1988 Stanley Cup notation. Featuring a double-matted 8” x 10” photo of Wayne sipping champagne from the Dominion Hockey Challenge Cup, the Oilers' puck has been inserted beneath along with a plaque. Wayne has signed the puck in silver, adding “Cup 88”, with the especially desirable limited-edition number of “99/199” handwritten over the left side. With full dimensions of 14 ½” x 16 ½ and light wear to the frame, a COA from WGA will accompany.
