Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Fall 2017
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 11/7/2017
Wayne Gretzky’s trade to the St. Louis Blues in 1996 was a homecoming of sorts for Gretzk, who enjoyed a brief stint wearing the Bluenote in his wife Janet’s hometown. This multi-signed Blues Gretzky No. 99 jersey is a family affair with Wayne’s autograph on the right “9” on the back of the Reebok jersey surrounded by the signatures of Janet and two of their children, Paulina and Ty, as well as Wayne’s father, Walter, and two of Wayne’s brothers, Brent and Glen. A plaque at the bottom reads, “Wayne Gretzky, The Gretzky Family, St. Louis Blues” with two Bluenote pins on yellow matte backgrounds in openings to the blue matte at the bottom of this huge framed display. Comes with a JSA LOA.
