Featuring the most collected player in baseball, we have a neat group of Babe Ruth items totaling 8 and spanning from the 1920s to 1940s, highlighted by a 1930s Keystone Stereoview of Ruth (graded 4 VGE by ACA). Also included, we have a Star Pictures postcard from 1929 that also feature's other American personalities such as Charlie Chaplin and Al Jolson (graded Authentic by ACA), a 1940s newsprint clipping mounted to board from The Sporting News Collection, a small 3 ¼” x 4 ¾” photo on cardstock, a page from the 1918 Reach AL guide featuring Ruth, a “Let’s Play Ball” Ruth/Ford Motors brochure, a low grade photo with copy of Ruth’s signature (7 ½” x 9 ¼”) and a 1930 Conlin magazine clipping (#95), graded Mint 9 by BSVA.
The Star Pictures postcard is in low grade with staining, corner wear and paper loss, with just light visible wear to the Conlin, Sporting News, Reach guide, cardstock photo and Stereoview items. The 7 ½” x 9 ¼” photo is in low grade with heavy creasing, edge tears and clipped corners, with the Ford brochure exhibiting edge toning along with a 1” tear.
