A member of Team Canada at the famous Summit Series in 1972, Vic Hadfield would appear in a pair of games, with the vaunted squad considered one of the most important hockey teams in history. We have a “Team of the Century” 14K gold and diamond ring that was presented to Vic Hadfield. Size 9 ½ with an approx. weight of 20 grams, 9 centralized diamonds are featured on the face, encompassed by “Team of the Century” in raised and angled letters. The left shank contains a maple leaf along with “Hadfield” and “11”, while the right contains a matching maple leaf, with “Team Canada” above and “1972” below, with the inner band stamped “14K”. Well worn with pride, most of the “Team of the Century” text over the tableau has worn away – including the original black enamel background - with the shanks also exhibiting heavy wear from rubbing. Despite these flaws, all 9 original diamonds are present and display brilliantly, with this important ring presented to one of hockey’s all-time greats. A signed LOA from Mr. Hadfield will accompany.
