Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Fall 2018

Especially physical and an asset on the penalty kill, Trent Hunter spent the majority of his NHL career with the New York Islanders, with just a single season spent on the opposite coast with Los Angeles in 2011-12. We have an Islanders jersey worn by Hunter in 2003-04, where he appeared in 77 games during his rookie season and was tied for first on the team in goals (25) and tied for total points (51). Size “56” labeling graces the collar, with KOHO and NHL crests over the reverse neckline and bottom hem respectively. Styled with the familiar Long Island team crest with embroidered detailing, the navy “Set 2” V-neck has been accented with tri-colour tackle twill sleeve and verso numbers, with an alternate patch over the right shoulder. A few dark marks are visible over the lower front, with additional examples over each sleeve along with board burns. There are also a few tiny stains within the bottom portion of the reverse “7”. The team patch sits over the inside hem along with an example from MeiGray numbered “B05908”, with a matching LOA to accompany.
