Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction June 2018

B.C. Lions quarterback Travis Lulay autographed his 2013 game-worn black alternate jersey from the team’s 60th anniversary season. Lulay was the CFL’s Most Outstanding Player in 2011, when he won Grey Cup Most Valuable Player honors while leading the Lions to their sixth Grey Cup win. Lulay placed a bold silver paint pen autograph in the middle of the “4” on the back of his game-worn jersey, which has a small patch with B.C.’s “60 Seasons of Pride” on the right breast, a style the Lions wore twice in 2013, including a 26-22 win over Calgary on August 17 when Lulay completed 16 of 28 passes for 233 yards passing. Originally purchased through CFL Auctions in November 2013, it comes with a Lions LOA.
There are adhesive remnants and the outline of numbers on the sleeves, to the left of the “1” on the left sleeve, and to the right of the “4” on the right sleeve.
Coast Capital Savings sponsor’s patch is sewn on the left breast and “13-42” season-and-size tagging is sewn in the back of the neck.
According to the LOA, Lulay did not play in the other game the Lions wore these jerseys during the 2013 season, a 31-17 loss to Saskatchewan on Oct. 4.
