Dubbed the “Over The Hill Gang” due to their average age being 31 years, the oldest group ever to win the Stanley Cup, the 1966-67 Toronto Maple Leafs defeated both the Chicago Black Hawks and Montreal Canadiens to claim the franchise’s 13th Stanley Cup championship during Canada’s 100th year. Offered here, is this Toronto Maple Leafs 1967 Stanley Cup champions team print from their 30th Anniversary dinner that has been signed by twenty (20) members of that cup winning squad. Framed to full dimensions of approx. 23” x 22” with the print itself measuring out to 17 ½” x 11 ½”, the piece has been matted under a thick blue coloured matte that black edges and is housed in a simple black frame with no glass that shows some light wear to the edges and corners that is worth noting for accuracy. Of note, the print also shows some wear and marks throughout as well. Sporting an embossed 30th anniversary seal to the right of a “30th Anniversary Stanley Cup Champions Dinner – May 1st, 1997” logo and title, the cut signatures of deceased HOFers Tim Horton, George Armstrong and Terry Sawchuk are found placed at the bottom of the piece while seventeen (17) have signed over the image with blue marker signatures that display well despite some fading from age. Showcasing the autographs of Keon, Bower, Pronovost, Kelly, Mahovlich, Stanley, Pulford, Ellis, Baun, Stemkowski, Hillman, Pappin and Shack among the notables, other include the likes of Mike Walton, Larry Jeffrey, Brian Conacher and Milan Marcetta. A JSA LOA will accompany the piece.
