Tommy Joe Coffey was honored by the Hamilton Sports Hall of Fame in 2010 when the 1967 Grey Cup champion Tiger-Cats were inducted as a team in the inaugural class that also included fellow CFL great Russ Jackson, Hockey Hall of Fame defenseman Harry Howell, and longtime NHL and WHA referee Bill Friday. This impressive glass trophy presented to Tommy Joe by the Hamilton Sports Hall of Fame stands 10” tall overall, including the 1 1/2” tall black base. “1967 Hamilton Tiger-Cats Grey Cup Champions” is etched on the front panel of the four-sided glass obelisk, with “Inducted, September 28, 2010” below it and the “Hamilton Sports Hall of Fame” logo at the bottom. Coffey’s full name and his jersey “#75” appear along with the Tiger-Cats logo on a plaque on the front of the square base, which is a shade under 3 inches wide on all four sides. In wonderful shape overall, with a nick on the top right corner of the back of the base the only flaw noted. Comes with Tommy Joe Coffey’s signed letter of authenticity.
