Tim Thomas first spent four years playing college hockey at the University of Vermont before moving on to the SM-liiga, ECHL and AHL. This Bruins “White Set 1” jersey originates from his seventh and last season in Boston in 2011-12, and it’s been photo-matched. “Goalie Style” and size tagging is affixed to the collar, with NHL and Reebok crests on the front and back necklines respectively. Accented with tri-colour tackle twill numbers and the classic spoked-B team crest, there are also matching alternate patches over each shoulder along with a custom-widened hem. A MeiGray patch numbered I05215 has been attached to the inside hem, and a matching LOA will accompany.
Game-wear on the tie-neck sweater is considerable, with a number of stick and puck marks on the front section including the team crest. There are a few additional marks on each sleeve, along with spots of red goal-post paint transfer on the back of the right sleeve. A large team repair is also present, and it runs along the top left side of the team crest. Regarding the previously mentioned photo-matches, Getty image 134263440 from Nov 23rd 2011 has been matched to the washed out black mark on the right breast, while Getty image 135286954 from Dec 5th has been matched to the red marks on the right side portion of the back of the jersey. Next, Getty image 135686605 from Dec 10th has been matched to the black mark in the lower portion of the team crest, and Getty image 136117708 from Dec 17th has been matched to the black marks on the left breast, and to the team repair at the top of the crest. Finally, Getty image 135814546 from Dec 14th and Getty image 136360708 from Dec 21st have both been matched to the black mark in the lower portion of the team crest, and to black marks on the left and right breast.
