Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Spring 2019
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 6/18/2019
Leading all shortstops in fielding percentage in both 1980 and 1982, Tim Foli appeared for numerous MLB clubs throughout his career including five seasons with Montreal in the early-to-mid-1970s. We have an Expos jersey that was worn by the California native in 1975, along with uniform pants that were recycled from the previous season. Featuring a Wilson label with “40” sizing along the collar, a “75 Set 2” swatch also resides on the front left tail. Styled with an Expos team crest over the left breast along with “Expos” affixed in individual tackle twill letters, “19” appears over the front and verso in matching material. The pants sport a matching Wilson label with “34” sizing, along with a “40 74 Set 1 24” swatch.
The jersey exhibits light wear and remains in beautiful condition, with no obtrusive marks, while the pants also remain in excellent condition, with just a bit of light dirt staining over the left knee.
