Holder of the record for most fighting majors in NHL history, Tie Domi also holds the distinction of being the Maple Leafs all-time leader in penalty minutes with 2265 in 777 games played with the blue and white. Hailing from the 1999-2000 season of play, Toronto's first full season of play in the newly built, Air Canada Centre, offered here is this Maple Leafs jersey worn by Domi on November 27th, 1999 against the Edmonton Oilers. Made by CCM, both "Made in Canada" and size "54" tags are affixed to the inner collar while both the CCM and NHL shield logos have been embroidered into the reverse hem. Decorated over the front of the jersey with a Maple Leafs team crest that has had "Toronto Maple Leafs" embroidered into it, matching alternate logo crests have been placed over both shoulders while both the NHL2000 patch that was worn by all the league's teams throughout the course of the season and the 2000 NHL All-Star Game patch, an event hosted by the Maple Leafs, have been sewn on over the right breast. Styled over the sleeves and verso with Demi's number "28" in dual layer white-over-blue tackle twill numerals, "Domi" is spelt out in single layer blue twill letters across the affixed matching nameplate at the top of the reverse. Of note, the nameplate on the upper reverse displays with a very light bit of yellowing due to the adhesive that was used to affix it before it was sewn down. Having had the sleeves shortened to Demi's liking, the jersey shows light game-wear in the form of stick marks over the front, reverse and both sleeves, a couple of small board burns and unrepaired small holes are observed over the left sleeve as well. Also sporting sweat-staining around the collar and cuffs, other spot staining is seen over the front as well. Having had a Leafs team patch sewn inside the reverse hem that denotes the jersey as a "Limited Edition Game Worn November 27th, 1999" offering, the jersey is accompanied by a matching Leafs LOA signed by then team President, Ken Dryden. Of note, the fight strap on the interior has been signed with a pair of blue marker ink signatures, or so it appears, as both are both washed out and sport bleeding that is too heavy to identify them.
