Historical Hockey and Sports Memorabilia Auction November 2024
Coming into their home soil 2010 Winter Olympic Games as the two-time defending Olympic gold medalists in women's ice hockey, Team Canada would finish round robin play with a perfect record of three (3) wins and zero (0) losses before rolling through Finland by a score of 5-0 in their semi-final game. Setting up another gold medal game against the United States, Canada, on the back of a pair of goals by Marie-Philip Poulin and stellar goaltending by Shannon Szabados, would shut out the American's by a score of 2-0 to claim their third straight Olympic gold medal. Offered here, we present this Team Canada 2010 Winter Olympics Jersey that has been team-signed by members of that year's Women's National Team that won gold. A Nike made offering with size "L" and the original retail tags affixed to the inner collar, Kim St-Pierre's number "33" has been penned to the bottom of the sewn in label in black marker ink.
