One of the longest-serving captains in the history of North American sports, Steve Yzerman made ten NHL All-Star Game appearances throughout his Hall of Fame career including his first as an 18-year old, with the Conn Smythe Trophy captured in 1998. This signed stick was used by the superstar in the early-to-mid-2000s, with this particular type of model used by Stevie Y in 2002-03 and 2003-04. An Easton Synergy model with “19 Yzerman” factory graphics, the original red-over-white tape is present on the shaft, with most of the blade tape removed to facilitate the large and flowing silver paint pen signature. The stick itself shows light to moderate game-use, with marks and surface chipping to the lower shaft. There is also residue on the shaft from the stick previously being bundled with others. Hailing from the personal collection of a prominent hockey executive, his signed LOA will accompany.
