This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 11/3/2015
The 1991 Calder Cup final witnessed a rematch between the previous season’s contenders with similar results, as the Springfield Indians defeated the Rochester Americans for their second straight Calder Cup. This Springfield Indians Calder Cup Championship ring was originally presented to a front office employee that worked in sales. Gorgeous size 7 ring, it has an approximate weight of 35 grams and it’s been stamped "10" on the inside band. The head features a diamond center stone surrounded by “American Hockey League AHL”, and it’s all been encompassed by a bright green stone. The left and right have “19” and “91" with three diamond side stones on each flank. “Calder Cup” and “Springfield” appear above with “Indians’ and “Champions” below. The upper left shank features “Rufo” above and “Sales” below with a centralized Indians logo, while the opposite shank has an image of the Calder Cup with game date and details beneath. Regarding condition, the ring has the usual wear with tiny scratches and a few minuscule notches on the upper section of the band from its intended use. An LOA will come with this beautiful Calder Cup Championship ring.
