The Jostens company pays tribute to Yvan Cournoyer’s outstanding career with this stunning ring. Cournoyer’s familiar No. 12 is front and center on the tableau and includes 17 diamonds. Set onto a large red stone, it is encircled by the speedy right wing’s name in sloping letters, along with "1963" (his first season with the Habs) and his retirement year of "1979". One shank has a raised "428 Career Goals", while engraving on hockey stick blades below references his Hall of Fame induction year (1982), 10 Stanley Cups as a player, 1973 Conn Smythe Trophy, participation with Team Canada 1972, and four All-Star Team nominations. The opposite side features an image of the old Montreal Forum before its renovation in 1968, Cournoyer’s facsimile classy signature above and the date his No. 12 was retired in 2005 below. Mr. Cournoyer's classic signature also is engraved on the interior of the band of the size 11 ring which is stamped "Jostens 10K". Limited edition tribute is numbered "7/10" and is in pristine condition. A large flip-top wooden display/storage box (approximately 5" by 6" by 4" high) includes a golden facsimile Cournoyer signature.
