Historical Hockey and Sports Memorabilia Auction November 2024
First donning the mighty maple leaf at the 2003 U-18 Junior World Cup in the Czech Republic and Slovakia shortly after his 16th birthday, Sidney Crosby has won gold medals with his nation at each and every level, most famously in 2010, while scoring the overtime winner in the final vs the Americans, with this widely considered the most important goal scored for the nation after Paul Henderson's 1972 winner. This Team Canada 2010 Vancouver Olympics limited-edition exact game model jersey has been signed by the three-time Stanley Cup champion. Nike labeling and "Limited-Edition" tags are affixed to the collar, with a tackle twill hockey Canada team crest and numbers. Crosby has signed the top of the reverse “7” in black marker with the signature presenting beautifully, with the limited-edition number of "1505/2010" written beneath, with minor bleeding occurring. A hologram from Frameworth has been affixed at the base of the number, with the jersey accompanied by a black display box (light wear) with gold lettering at 18" x 20 1/2" x 3 1/2" along with a COA from Frameworth.
Of note, the photo recently added to the listing showing the small Team Canada crest is actually found on the interior behind the front crest.
