A product of the Seattle Thunderbirds in the WHL, defenceman Shea Theodore was drafted by Anaheim in 2013 and spent parts of two seasons in California before being traded to Las Vegas in 2017. This photo-matched inaugural season Knights jersey was worn by the BC native in 2017-18, specifically throughout Game 1 on May 28th (6-4 victory), and throughout the final Cup-clinching Game 5 on June 7th (4-3 loss – photo-matched to this game). Produced by Adidas with “56” sizing across the collar band, NHL and Adidas crests are present over the front and reverse necklines respectively. Styled with a textured team crest, “27” appears over the sleeves and verso in ventilated white numbers with gold trim, with the Stanley Cup Final crest situated right breast. The “2018 Stanley Cup Finals” team patch resides on the inside hem along with a crest from MeiGray numbered “P07250”, with a matching Knights/MeiGray LOA to accompany, and according to the MeiGray population report, the jersey is a “Gray Stanley Cup Final Set 1, Worn in Game 1 and Game 5 of the 2018 Stanley Cup Final” example.
Exhibiting light wear, the jersey sports faint board burns over the lower left sleeve. Getty Image #969416992 (Game 5 of the Stanley Cup finals, June 7, 2018) has been matched to the numerous matching threading anomalies over the "27" on the left sleeve, and to the exact placement and alignment of the patch over the left shoulder.
