Historical Hockey and Sports Memorabilia Auction Fall 2022
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 9/21/2022
An inaugural member of the WHA Hall of Fame, netminder Ron Grahame spent four full seasons in the secondary league, with time later spent in the NHL primarily with Los Angeles. We have a Kings jersey that was worn by the Victoria native in 1980-81, his final season with the club where he saw action in only 6 games. A W.A. Goodman & Sons “XL” label remains attached to the collar (roughly a size 56), with the garment’s laundering instructions also listed. Styled with a gorgeous, fully embroidered crown team crest, the bright gold V-neck has been accented with dual-colour tackle twill sleeve and verso numbers, with “Grahame” sewn directly to verso in single purple twill. Knit striping bands over the waist have also been utilized. In beautiful condition with bright and brilliant colours, just a few small marks are visible just above the right cuff, with a small team repair near the right elbow. An LOA will accompany.
