Although he was officially selected to the 2nd NHL All-Star Teams in 1975 and 1977, Rogie Vachon was also chosen to fill out the rosters for the games in 1973 and 1978. This creamy durene jersey was worn by the Los Angeles Kings netminding star Rogatien Vachon during the 1978 All-Star Game held in Buffalo, New York. This style, worn for a few years, sports the crest of the National Hockey League on the chest with two smaller shields on orange tackle twill stars on each breast. Two additional NHL shields up on the shoulder made certain the players would not be mistaken for members of a rival league. Rogie's uniform has his surname sewn on in individual letters (no plate) with his number "1" on the back. Heavy knit with Cosby tag in collar and the size "50" tag above. All crests, numbers and stars are sewn on. These durene All Star gamers are stunning! Light wear with some rust-colored staining in areas and Rogie has signed across the lower front, adding his player number "30". From the personal collection of Rogie Vachon, complete with his signed letter of authenticity.
