Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction June 2015
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 6/17/2015
Hall of Fame defenseman Rod Langway played some minor league hockey after wrapping up his 15-year NHL career, including 46 games for the 1995-96 IHL San Francisco Spiders. Langway’s Spiders game-issued jersey originates from someone associated with the team during its only season in the International Hockey League. Sports Channel patch sits on the right breast and ProWear and size 56 flag tags sit in the back of the neck. “Langway” is spelled out in sewn-on white twill letters on the nameplate above the stylized No. “3” sewn on the back in red and white double twill. Bauer and IHL patches are embroidered onto the right rear tail. This rare defunct one-year IHL team jersey comes with a HOFer’s pedigree.
