Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction February 2018
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 2/27/2018
Currently serving as the head coach of the Arizona Coyotes, Rick Tocchet spent 18 seasons in the NHL which included two stints with Philadelphia, with a Stanley Cup won as a player with the Pens in 1992. We have a Flyers jersey that was worn by the Scarborough native during the 1991-92 NHL pre-season. Maska Air-Knit labeling along with a size “52” fly tag remain affixed to the collar, with embroidered CCM and NHL crests on the back bottom hem. Originating from the collection of longtime Flyers training staff member Jim “Turk” Evers, a signed COA from Evers will accompany.
Featuring the classic “Winged P” team crest in tri-colour tackle twill, the V-neck sweater has been accented with black piping along with dual-colour tackle twill sleeve and verso numbers, with the NHL 75th anniversary crest over the right shoulder and Flyers’ 25th anniversary patch over the left. Exhibiting just light wear with a few tiny stains along the interior beneath the nameplate, the jersey remains in gorgeous condition.
