Combining to play a grand total of 1174 National Hockey League games over the course of their respective careers, Rick Lanz and Jim Benning both suited up for the Vancouver Canucks during the 1986-87 season wearing this classic yellow, black and orange jersey at individual times during the year. An Ultrafil material garment made by CCM that is void of any tagging affixed to the inner collar, the jersey measures out to roughly a size "50" and has the CCM logo embroidered into the reverse hem. Decorated over the front with Vancouver's now iconic "flying skate" team crest that features embroidered details throughout, the "Rick Hansen: Man in Motion World Tour" patch worn by the franchise during the season is still present over the left side of the reverse hem. Accented over the sleeves and verso with Lanz and Benning's number "4" in dual layer black-over-orange tackle twill numerals, a nameplate with "Benning" spelt across it in matching style letters is affixed to the upper back while evidence of the former one for Lanz can be seen underneath it on the interior. Utilizing a snap style fight strap on the interior, the jersey exhibits game-wear via stick marks over the front, reverse and both sleeves as well as a small number of board burns over both sleeves as well. Additionally, a small unrepaired hole is observed in the left forearm and a stain in seen along the edge of the left cuff while pilling is present on the interior and some of the stitches at the bottom of the team crest have let go causing it to lift from the jersey.
