Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Fall 2019
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 11/5/2019
Selected 178th overall by the Toronto Maple Leafs in 1996, Reggie Berg skated for the bulk of his career with the Florida Everblades in the ECHL, with four seasons first spent attending the University of Minnesota. From his sophomore season, we have a Golden Gophers road jersey worn by the Anoka native in 1996-97. Void of any collar labeling and measuring-out to approx a size 52, WCHA and Champion patches sit over the left breast, with the Gophers 75th anniversary crest over the right sleeve. Styled with the school’s trademark large “M” over the chest in layered white, black and gold tackle twill, “19” appears over the sleeves and verso in matching material, with “Berg” across the affixed nameplate in single gold twill. There are marks and burns over each sleeve along with a few small resulting holes, with scuff marks over the team crest. There is also a bit of fraying to the team crest and reverse number threading and pilling over each cuff.
