His sixth season leading Michigan to a first-place finish in the CCHA in 1999-00, Red Berenson and the Wolverines won their Regional Quarterfinal over Colgate, but lost to Maine in the Regional Semifinals. This ring was presented to Berenson for the Wolverines status as CCHA regular-season champions. Size 12 with an approx weight of 35 grams, a gold-coloured Michigan “M” sits within a blue stone on the tableau, with “CCHA” above and “Champions” below, spaced by four inserted zirconias. The right shank sports a Wolverines helmet with “Berenson” above and “HC” below, while the left features the championship trophy with “2000” below, “Michigan” on the left and “Hockey” on the right. The inner band is stamped “Jostens 10K”. Showing good wear from use, there are numerous scratches and small dings over the outer band, shanks and along edges, with the ring displaying beautifully. A signed LOA from Red Berenson will accompany.
