With Jeremy Roenick leading all teammates in scoring with 103 points, the Chicago Black Hawks advanced to the Stanley Cup finals in 1991-92, but lost four straight to Mario Lemieux and the Pittsburgh Penguins. This Clarence Campbell trophy was presented to the team's assistant equipment manager Randy Lacey for the Hawks status as Campbell Conference playoffs champions. 11” in height, the silver-plated handled cup with removable lid and chased detailing sits atop a hexagon-shaped 3-inch wooden base, and is engraved “Randy Lacey - Chicago Black Hawks - 1991-92" on one side, with the name of the trophy and its "1968" year of inception on the other. An even coat of light tarnish envelopes the trophy, with some surface wear to the handles and a few small surface chips to the second rim (beneath the engraved text). The felt underside is somewhat frayed, and we should note a small bend at the bottom of the lid. Overall, this desirable NHL award displays beautifully. The original box with NHL decal and small affixed "R. Lacey" sticker is included.
