Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Winter 2017

Big and strong Peter Taglianetti spent parts of 5 seasons with the Pittsburgh Penguins beginning in 1990, and it was during the 1993-94 campaign when he suited up for 60 games, that he wore the photo-matched Penguins jersey offered here. CCM tagging with handwritten “32” sits on the collar along with a “52” size tag, with embroidered NHL and CCM crests on the back bottom hem. Styled with an attractive partially embroidered team crest, the V-neck sweater with vented collar has been embellished with dual-colour tackle twill sleeve and verso numbers, with “Taglianetti” across the nameplate in matching dual-colour tackle twill. An LOA will accompany this jersey.
Game-wear is heavy on the garment, with a number of black marks littering the lower front and sleeves, along with heavy board burns over the elbow sections. There is also some pilling around the collar and a small stain on the team crest along with at least 20 team repairs present. 12 repairs sit on the left sleeve, with another 8 on the right. Regarding the previously mentioned photo-match, an included numeric image has been matched to the black mark in the lower portion of the "2" of "32" on the left sleeve.
