Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Fall 2018
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 11/6/2018
During the 1999-2000 season Paul Coffey became the first defenseman in NHL history, and only the eighth player to that point, to reach the 1500-point plateau. The HOF defenseman, whose 1,531 career points are currently 13th all-time, reached the milestone as a member of the Carolina Hurricanes on December 23, 1999. “1500” is handwritten in black marker on top of the knob of Coffey’s milestone point stick, a Sher-Wood PMP7000 that has his original tape job, as does the blade, which has nice game wear along the bottom edge. “Carolina” is stamped low on the back of the shaft, which has “Coffey 77” factory graphics on the front and back. Comes with Paul Coffey's signed LOA.
