Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction June 2018
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 6/19/2018
One of the most shocking trades that developed during the 1990s, it was no surprise to Habs fans that losing Patrick Roy could cost the team success, and that was all the more evident when St Patrick was able to lead Colorado to the promise land during their first NHL season. We have a stick used by the HOFer circa 1995-96. A Koho Revolution model, “Roy” appears stamped-on, with the stick retaining its original white tape over the blade and knob, and gauze-style over the handle. Great use is exhibited, with wear to the underside of the blade along with puck marks to the taped section. There’s also additional puck marks to the lower paddle. Considered by many critics to be the best goaltender of all-time, any and all game-used equipment from the icon is highly sought after.
