Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Fall 2017
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 11/7/2017
This sensational stick is Patrick Roy’s 1985-86 Montreal Canadiens team-signed Sher-Wood rookie season gamer from an incredible debut campaign that saw the future HOF goalie win Stanley Cup and the Conn Smythe Trophy! Roy’s original tape jobs remain on the blade and knob and “Roy 33” is stamped on the shaft, which has approximately 21 black marker autographs on all four sides, including Mats Naslund high on the front, and Brian Skrudland just below the “33” stamp. An obscured black marker autograph high on the paddle appears to be fellow rookie and playoff hero Claude Lemieux. Good game wear with a few gouges on the edges of the paddle. Comes with a COA.
Included among the other autographs identified are Kjell Dahlin, Ryan Walter, Stephane Richer, Lucien DeBlois, Mike Lalor, Randy Bucyk, Rick Green, David Maley and the late John Kordic.
