Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction June 2015

Interesting Quebec Nordiques jersey here worn by Norm Descoteaux during the 1973-74 season. Nice wear on this colorful durene beauty, with a dark skipping stick mark located just above the crest, and a few other small errant dark marks appearing on both sleeves. Very light blue paint transfer is noticeable on the white section of the right sleeve, as well as a tiny bit of red paint transfer located on both sleeves. A Tricot Sport Maska tag is attached in the collar as well as a "Made in Canada" laundry tag. The garter-style fight strap also remains in place, and there's some puckering (no pun intended) to both the team crest and the back numbers from washing. It's possible that Michel Rouleau also wore this jersey as there are signs another nameplate was once on this garment. Rouleau played 4 games for the Nords that season.
