Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction October 2016
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 11/9/2016
From the boys on Broadway, we have this neat grouping of 7 replica New York Rangers jerseys, along with a pair of painted street hockey masks made to resemble familiar models worn in the Big Apple by John Vanbiesbrouck and Mike Richter. There is also a mismatched pair of 1950’s hockey gloves, most likely from the equipment room at MSG as they have the correct Cosby Store supplier stamps present to be used by the Rangers, but each glove has a different hand-written number listed. The jerseys are replicas of examples that would have been worn by Bill Cook, Ching Johnson, Rod Gilbert, Charlie Rayner and Gump Worsley. Lastly, we also have a pair of generic 1970’s goal pads, and they remain in good condition. The gorgeous replica jerseys all remain in excellent or better condition, and have been made by CCM and Stall & Dean. The street masks also remain in very good condition, and are perfect for display with the vintage-style jerseys.
