Drafted 7th overall by the Montreal Canadiens at the 2001 NHL Entry Draft, Mike Komisarek would play a total of 551 games in the National Hockey League over the course of 11 seasons. This white Habs gamer belonging to defenseman Mike Komisarek was originally intended to be worn during the 2004-05 campaign, but there was a lockout that season so Komisarek wore it the following season in 2005-06. The size tag indicates it is a size "60" on the inner collar, and the back of the collar has a "Reebok" patch. On the inside hem are two patches - the MeiGray patch from the locked-out 2004-05 season that states "NHL game-worn jersey 2004-2005 season C05223", and according to MeiGray's population report, the jersey is a "White Set 1" example. The other patch reads "2005-2006 season" from when play finally resumed. The accompanying MeiGray LOA states that "this White Set 1 jersey was worn by Mike Komisarek during the 2005-2006 National Hockey League regular season". The lower right sleeve has a dozen or so small marks, including an unrepaired board burn. The lower left sleeve has a half dozen or so game marks, including two faint marks and a paint transfer near the number "8". The front and back have a dozen or so game marks combined, including a non-game-related stain on the back and paint transfer on the back hem. The inside lower right sleeve has light pilling, and the fight strap shows signs of washing.
