The second incarnation of the club, the Niagara Flyers existed for eight seasons from 1976 to 1982, playing in the OHA as a Tier 1 Junior “A” club, with an appearance made in the OHA finals, in 1979. This Flyers #14 jersey originates from the mid-1970s, circa 1976-77. Void of its original collar label, the vintage sweater measures-out to roughly a modern size 46. Sporting a tackle twill team crest similar in design to the Boston Bruins, “14” appears over the sleeves and verso in single black twill, with no nameplate over the upper reverse. The durene sweater shows great use, with a few small holes and repairs over the lower front, with each cuff torn/unraveled. There is also a seam separation on the lower left sleeve, with a few additional repairs over each sleeve and the reverse.
